How many ounces are in a #2 can?

like both, fruits: berries, oranges, pears, peaches, dragonfruit, pomegranate…. Vegetables: CUCUMBERS, bok choy, green beans, broccoli,…. I actually guess the two are great.

A #2 can is approx 2 1/2 cups or about 20 ounces. Since you've got a choice that doesn't fall into the actual #2 size, go with the larger. You can always start with less then add more to taste.

May I ask what you're making? Most recipes (aside from baking) don't require that you be that exact and a little leeway let's you decide if you want a more or less tomatoey flavor.

A #2 can holds 2 1/2 cups.

I am looking at a recipe which calls for a #2 can of tomatoes. I don't knowi f it is the smaller can (about 14 oz.) or the larger can (about 28 oz.)
